Born in Nuuk, Greenland

My name is Ivalu Risager. I was born and grew up in Greenland and am of both Danish and Inuit lineage. I now live with my partner in the Pacific Northwest of the United States.I speak Danish and American English fluently.I’m passionate about emotional and spiritual healing, and my perspective has been shaped by living in the spaces between: Greenland, Denmark, Thailand, and the United States; beauty and trauma; privilege and colonialism; life and death. This beautiful, complicated life has marked me deeply. At times, I have struggled simply to want to be here.As a self-identified neurodivergent human, I spent much of my life feeling lonely,
as though I didn’t belong anywhere. When I was seven, I lost an older sister to cancer. My family moved to Denmark for her treatment, and 18 months later, we moved to a new town in Greenland—severing my connection to family, friends, language, and a feeling of home. During that time, I was also navigating my parents’ alcoholism and separation, sexual trauma, and bullying.
Later, I struggled with relationships, my own alcoholism, and sex addiction. Although I was always some version of angry or sad—blaming and alienating others—I had no idea that I was actually in need of healing until my mid-thirties. In the early 2000s, a good friend initiated my healing journey, and I began meditating, reading self-help books, and seeking different types of therapy. The most influential were The Power of Now, hypnotherapy/NLP, EMDR with compassionate practitioners, and the bright idea of being my own best friend. My addictions were still running my life as I continued on my path, but they began to shift dramatically after my first ayahuasca ceremonies in early 2022, which opened the door to a more focused healing path. My expansion became my first priority, and a lot of synchronicities began to happen. After I attended a free "Clear the Lightworker's Persecution Imprint" event led by Edward Mannix in February 2022, they became impossible to ignore. This led me to become a certified Compassion Key practitioner and Circle Leader, and join a worldwide community of healers, finding my purpose and joy as I continue learning to heal with others. Now, I share what I have learned with the souls I am here to serve. If these words resonate with you, perhaps you are one of them.

SILA, an inuit term

The inuit word SILA has several meanings; weather, world, day-clear consciousness, sense and mindI chose Sila as the name of my healing practice because it reflects my belief that when we heal in one dimension, we heal the whole—in the most magickal ways.In Inuit teachings, a person can lose their Sila through a loss of consciousness or balance. When someone’s Sila is damaged, they may become ill or feel out of harmony with themselves and the world around them.Sila can be threatened by disorder and by the confusion of essential categories, such as sea and land, or birth and death. These teachings remind us of the importance of seeking balance and honoring the practices that help sustain it—in ourselves, in our relationships, and in the world. Many of us have been brought up in a system that taught us to normalize a way of thinking that keeps us feeling small, separate, and like we don't matter. In my opinion that is disorder and it threatens Sila.Sila Healing is rooted in this understanding: that healing ourselves is the way to bring healing to the greater whole.

Testimonials

Ivalu Risager is a deeply intuitive and skilled Compassion Key practitioner. Working with her has been truly eye-opening. With her gentle, grounded guidance, I’ve been able to recognize long-standing patterns, understand where they began, and begin to soften, shift, and in some cases completely uproot them. The work Ivalu offers has been an invaluable part of my healing and self-discovery journey. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone who feels called to explore their inner landscape with care, clarity, and compassion.-Xanna Seto, Curator/Creatrix

When I came out of my first session with Ivalu, I could already feel lighter. Over the next few days, the shifts kept trickling in little by little, but the most important work is still happening weeks later: my Higher Self continues to receive its own teachings after several weeks. These lessons aren’t always easy, but they’re steering me towards a more mindful, softer way to be. Ivalu leads her Compassion Key sessions skillfully, playfully, and yes, compassionately, but what stands out the most for me is her curiosity. She doesn’t have an agenda—she’s just open to explore whatever might happen.-Julietta

Ivalu, I deeply value the work you guided me through. The deep intuitive reclamation statements you led me through made a profound impact on the recalibration of my subconscious mind and internal wounded parts.I have done so much inner child work and sexual trauma work, and didn’t realize there was one little piece that could be refined to click everything else deeper into place. I feel like my inner infant is now safely held by my inner child who can now fully receive the harmonious unification of the divine inner family, with my inner mother and inner father in a beautiful blended balance of unconditional love.I feel like you have helped me step fully into who I choose to be: holy, whole, and healed. I am forever grateful for you and the work you do in the world.-Yessia
